For more than five decades, CIC Insurance Group has helped individuals, businesses and communities manage risk through insurance and financial services tailored to their needs. Our promise, “We Keep Our Word”, reflects our commitment to delivering dependable service.

CIC began in 1968 as a department of the Kenya National Federation of Co-operatives (KNFC). Today, we are a leading co-operative insurer in Africa, with operations in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Malawi.

We are the only co-operative insurance entity listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE). We serve over 2 million customers through 25 branches, more than 8,000 agents and brokers, and multiple online platforms.

Our work continues to earn industry recognition. With decades of experience and a strong corporate brand, CIC Group serves a wide range of customers, from co-operatives and corporates to SMEs, NGOs, government entities and individuals.
